Tamala is a small animal farm just off the B999 near Whitecairns — intimate, unhurried, designed for families who want their children to actually interact with animals rather than look at them behind a fence. Sessions include lamb feeding, pony time, goat picnics, and open access to meet sheep, cows, llamas, and pigs.
The farm is accessible — wheelchair-friendly paths, on-site parking, hand-washing stations. No performance here. You arrive, you meet the animals, you stay as long as you want. Specialist sessions are available for groups with additional support needs. Children talk about this one for weeks.
