Noelle and David run Netherton as a proper host would — homemade whisky marmalade on the breakfast table, bath salts made from the garden, honey soaps in the bathrooms. The three resident spaniels — Pumpkin, Poppy, and Crumble — will make your acquaintance.

Two king-sized ensuite rooms: MacDuff (Scottish-themed) and Les Cevennes (French-themed, a nod to David's connection to the south of France). Both overlook fields and hills. Nearby: Glen Garioch distillery, Bennachie mountain, and the market town of Inverurie. Woodland and riverside walks start from the door.

This is the farm stay for people who want to be looked after. Noelle looks after people very well.
